About Us

William Lewis is an artist, woodworker, sculptor, and builder. He has been working with his hands since he was a boy and has developed a precise, detail oriented style that has been delighting homeowners for years. He began a professional pursuit of art and sculpture at University of North Carolina at Greensboro and developed his skill further studying at Savannah College of Art and Design. While in Savannah he began working with developers renovating the Antebellum houses that the city is famous for. He moved to Asheville, North Carolina in 2003 and created Sixteen on Center to meet the custom carpentry needs of homeowners in Western Carolina.

Elizabeth Lewis is an interior designer with a special interest in lighting and budget conscious eco-friendly design. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia in Furnishings and Interiors and furthered her education at Savannah College of Art and Design, where she earned her MFA in Interior Design. She has designed corporate spaces and private homes, as well as entire residential subdivisions. She joined Sixteen on Center full-time in 2005. She is certified by the NCIDQ and currently serves as chair-elect for the East Tennessee State University Interior Design Advisory Board.
